Slipping through the cracks.

How many times in one lifetime can one person slip through the cracks?

I started out life as a military dependant. Got to see the country from one side to the other, at a cost. Tattoos and peircings are a hobby of mine. I'm a 4th Class Power Engineer. And I love filing ATIP requests with the Federal Government.

  1. I can confirm as a child “brat” that CFB GREISBACH had its share of all ranks of soldiers accused of mental, physical and sexual abuse towards children landing at that base in the sixties and seventies. With your story, that now includes the eighties. WTF! Can this be why they decided to obliterate the existence of the PMQs and it roads?

    1. The Canadian Forces started looking at getting out of the business of operating the “company towns” in the late ’80s. Far, far too many problems. That’s one of the reasons why ownership of the PMQs was transferred to the Canadian Forces Housing Authority.
The military had a shitload of problems between the ’50s and the late ’90s. In many ways they still do. All I can say is that I’m happy that I’m no longer a military dependent.
